Every season, we have new and reoccurring group classes taking place at our Nyack and Tappan locations. We have classes for all ages and interests, including rock bands, choir, art studio, film and TV show, video editing, podcasting, musical theatre and so much more!

Nothing is better than playing music together! Participants will learn the basics of making music in a group including playing together with a steady beat, group singing and movement to music. PODCAST CLASS - VOICES ARE HEARD

This class will continue to focus on interviewing interesting people in our community in-person and around the world on zoom! BUT we will add a “podcast” business component as we try to get our podcasts on actual podcast platforms AND find local sponsors and advertisers for our interviews. We will also add a “debrief” discussion to each podcast in which participants will discuss the interview with each other and include this as part of the published podcast.

Learn to sing, play an instrument, write and record songs with a personalized approach. Students will learn how to play a variety of musical instruments using a personalized approach. They will learn basic music skills including rhythm, melody and harmony as well as music theory. The goal is for them to make playing music a meaningful part of their lives both individually and with others. Social music making opportunities will be explored when they are ready and interested.

Experience the joys of creating art while exploring a variety of art mediums with a personalized approach. Students will explore a variety of mediums as they learn to express themselves through art. They will explore painting, drawing and collage. They will increase their skills in using art materials and in understanding how color, shape and image express different ideas, thoughts and emotions. Projects will include 2 and 3 dimensional work.
